Medication prices — separate from visit fees

What might medication cost each month?

AZ Weight & Metabolic Health does not sell or dispense medications. Medication is purchased separately from a licensed pharmacy. The prices below are examples and do not include your visit or membership fee.

Commercial insurance + savingsas low as$25/month

For certain FDA-approved medications when the insurance plan provides coverage and the patient meets manufacturer savings-program requirements. Prior authorization may be required.

Manufacturer self-pay programs$149–$449/month

Examples for selected FDA-approved medications. Price varies by medication, pill or injection, dose, and program eligibility. Lower introductory or starter-dose pricing may not continue.

How coverage works

If medication is medically appropriate, Dr. Singh can prescribe it and complete a prior-authorization request when required. Your insurance plan or pharmacy benefit manager determines coverage and approval; the pharmacy, insurer, and applicable savings program determine your final price.

Current examples include NovoCare programs for Wegovy®, Lilly programs for Zepbound®, and TrumpRx® cash-pay listings. Eligibility and coverage vary. Prices are examples—not guarantees—and may change, especially after an introductory pricing period. View NovoCare pricing ↗ View Zepbound pricing ↗ View TrumpRx pricing ↗

Frequently asked questions

What you may want to know.

Have another question? We can discuss it during your consultation.

Who is this practice for?+

Adults in Arizona seeking physician-led support for primary care, weight management, metabolic health, and healthier aging through virtual or in-person visits when appropriate.

Do you offer adult primary care?+

Yes. Adult primary care includes preventive care and management of conditions such as high blood pressure, cholesterol concerns, and type 2 diabetes. Call 602-638-1905 to discuss your needs, confirm visit fees, and arrange an appointment. Primary care is offered on a cash-pay, per-visit basis; the Medication Care membership is for weight-management treatment.

Do you offer both in-person and virtual appointments?+

Yes. AZ Weight & Metabolic Health offers a convenient hybrid model with in-person appointments at our Mesa office and secure virtual appointments throughout Arizona. You may choose the setting that works best for you while receiving the same personalized, physician-led care.

What is the free 15-minute consultation?+

It is a complimentary introductory conversation to learn about your goals, answer general questions about the practice, and help you decide whether our care is a good fit. It is not a full medical evaluation or treatment visit.

Does everyone receive weight-loss medication?+

No. Medication is considered only after an individual medical evaluation. Your plan may include medication, lifestyle treatment, or both based on your needs and clinical eligibility.

What if my insurance does not cover a GLP-1 medication?+

Insurance coverage for weight-management medications varies. When clinically appropriate, we can discuss alternatives such as manufacturer self-pay or savings programs, other FDA-approved weight-management medications, and individualized pharmacy options when legally permitted. We will review the potential benefits, risks and expected costs so you can make an informed decision.

Are medications included in the appointment fee?+

No. The appointment fee covers your physician evaluation and personalized treatment plan. Medications and laboratory testing are purchased separately. Medication prices are determined by the manufacturer, pharmacy and insurance plan and may change.

Do you prescribe compounded GLP-1 medications?+

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not appropriate for every patient. They may be considered only after an individualized medical evaluation and when clinically appropriate and legally permitted. Availability is not guaranteed.

What happens during the first visit?+

Your first visit is a comprehensive conversation about your health history, goals, prior efforts, medications, and metabolic risk factors. Together, we identify priorities and next steps.
